A gift from gaming industry executive Frank Gibeau P鈥27 will enhance 糖心影视 Theater by creating new hands-on learning experiences and professional development opportunities.

Winter Break

Campus hours and operations

  • Dining Services: All locations will be closed Dec. 20鈥揓an. 2. Murray-Aikins Dining Hall will have limited hours Jan. 3鈥揓an. 18. Regular hours will resume on Jan. 20. An updated schedule is available online
  • : The library will have through Dec. 19 and will be closed Dec. 20-Jan.4. 
  • : will be in effect through Dec. 19 and will be closed Dec. 20鈥揓an. 4. Reopening will be on Jan. 5. There will be no open swim hours. The McCaffery-Wagman Tennis and Wellness Center and the Williamson Sports Center will follow the same schedule through Jan. 19: Monday鈥揊riday, 7 a.m.鈥8 p.m.; Saturday, 9 a.m.鈥6 p.m.; and Sunday, noon鈥6 p.m. 
  • : The Tang鈥檚 holiday hours for Dec. 16鈥揓an. 18 are Tuesday鈥揝unday, noon鈥5 p.m. The museum will be closed Dec. 23鈥25 and Dec. 30鈥揓an. 1. The last day to see 鈥鈥 is Jan. 4. The Wachenheim Gallery will be closed Jan. 5鈥揊eb. 13 for installation of 鈥.鈥 will resume Jan. 20.
  • : Online orders must be placed by midnight on Thursday, Dec. 18 to be processed before the winter break. The shop will be closed Dec. 20鈥揓an. 4 and will reopen Jan. 5. 
  • 鈥屘切挠笆 Weekly Bulletin: The Bulletin will resume publication on Jan. 7. Submissions will be accepted over the break; the deadline for the Wednesday, Jan. 7 issue is end of day Monday, Jan. 5.

鈥孊uilding Access

All buildings will be locked from Saturday, Dec. 20, through Sunday, Jan. 4. Employees with existing building access will be able to enter by swiping their ID card. The building will remain locked. If employees need to enter a building but do not have their ID card, they should contact Campus Safety for access. Vendors should be advised that the College is closed during this period, and no deliveries should be made unless an employee is present. All emergency exits will continue to function in all buildings. A small number of buildings, such as the Tang, may follow special hours.

Flexible Work Arrangement Benefit 

鈥孲办颈诲尘辞谤别鈥檚 Flexible Work Arrangement Benefit permits eligible staff to request up to two remote workdays per week through Jan. 16, 2026. Because of the varied array of services provided across campus, not all employees will be eligible to take advantage of flexible work arrangements. Requests to work remotely must be approved in advance by the employee鈥檚 department or program leader who is responsible for ensuring adequate coverage.

鈥孎all grades are due from faculty by Friday, Jan. 2, at noon. Please plan to enter all grades on or before the deadline. Grades must be submitted through the , and a confirmation email will be sent the following day indicating any missing entries and allowing you to review your submissions. Instructions for entering grades are available on the website.

鈥孲ubmit spring course material lists through the . Although the Nov. 26 deadline has passed, materials can still be ordered, but arrival by the first day of classes cannot be guaranteed. For art materials, contact Evelyn Lee.

鈥學omen鈥檚 Lacrosse to host February break kids camp

鈥學omen鈥檚 lacrosse will host a February break kids camp Feb. 16鈥20 for children in grades K鈥5. The camp runs 9 a.m.鈥搉oon at the Williamson Sports Center and includes arts and crafts, games, and other activities. Cost is $30 per day or $125 for the week.
