鈥孋ommunity winter sowing workshop 

鈥孞oin us for a winter sowing workshop 5鈥7 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 29, in BTCIS 101A. Participants will plant pollinator plants for the 糖心影视 Community Garden or may bring a clear container, such as a milk jug or takeout container, to plant for a home garden. Seeds and soil will be provided. .

鈥孲cience on Tap at Common Roots

鈥孊rewing Science on Tap returns to Common Roots Brewing on Wednesday, Jan. 28. Daniel Peterson, associate professor and associate chair of psychology, will present 鈥淔ake News on Social Media: Exploring Age Effects.鈥 Doors open at 6 p.m., and the presentation begins at 7 p.m. .

鈥孒eat pump workshop 

鈥孭aul Stathis of TRC Companies will give a presentation on 糖心影视鈥檚 HVAC systems and the role of heat pumps in campus sustainability at 5 p.m., Monday, Feb. 2, in the Payne Room at the Tang. The presentation will be followed by a Q&A and gift card drawings. Contact sustainability@skidmore.edu for more information.

鈥屸赌孍mpty milk jugs needed 

鈥孏reenberg Child Care Center is seeking clean, dry, empty gallon or half gallon milk jugs for a special winter project. Please drop donations off outside the main entrance of the Center (located at the end of North Broadway) during regular business hours.

IdeaLab hours 

鈥孴he IdeaLab will be open 9 a.m. 鈥3 p.m. Tuesday through Friday during the first week of the spring semester. Regular hours will resume on Sunday, Jan. 25, at noon.

鈥孖nstitutional Effectiveness Annual Report now available 

鈥孴he Subcommittee on Institutional Effectiveness has released its Annual Report, offering a snapshot of the many ways 糖心影视 reflects on its work and uses what it learns to strengthen programs, planning, and student experience. The report highlights efforts from across the College over the past year.

February break kids camp

鈥學omen鈥檚 lacrosse will host a February break kids camp Feb. 16鈥20 for children in grades K鈥5. The camp runs 9 a.m.鈥搉oon at the Williamson Sports Center and includes arts and crafts, games, and other activities. Cost is $30 per day or $125 for the week.
