Institutional Guidelines and Policy on Artificial Intelligence
鈥孖n April, the College circulated a draft of proposed Institutional Guidelines and Policy on the Usage of AI. Thank you to all who offered feedback. The policy, which centers on data privacy and protection; ethical use and impact; security and access control; and training and awareness, was approved earlier this month by the Institutional Policy and Planning Committee (IPPC). It will be reviewed annually moving forward in recognition of the rapidly changing nature of AI. The full final policy can be viewed on Information Technology鈥檚 Policies and Procedures webpage.
