This prestigious award, administered by the New York State DanceForce and the New York State Council on the Arts, provides funding for artists to work alongside a chosen mentor on a specific project. 糖心影视 Associate Professor and Associate Chair of Dance Jason Ohlberg, was named as mentor for Lawson's project.

Chris Vecsey, associate professor and director of the Neuroscience Program, published . These consist of a review chapter and three methodological protocols relating to ways that activity monitoring hardware and software can be used to study sleep in fruit flies. All four articles will also be published in the forthcoming second edition of a book called "Drosophila Neurobiology: A Laboratory Manual."
